Majid Al Futtaim announced the opening of luxury Italian furniture brand Poltrona Frau’s first monobrand store in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking a significant milestone in its regional expansion strategy. Located on the first floor of Riyadh’s prestigious Centria Mall, this 339-sqm space is the brand’s third store in the GCC, following successful openings in Dubai at Jumeirah and Mall of the Emirates.
The new opening marks a further step in the brand’s strategic expansion in the Middle East, where Poltrona Frau is already present with monobrand stores in Dubai at Jumeirah and Mall of the Emirates both in partnership with Majid Al Futtaim.
The retail concept, designed by multidisciplinary creative studio AMDL CIRCLE under the direction of Italian architect Michele De Lucchi, was introduced at the end of 2023. Warm tones, refined materials and artisan-crafted details define a space conceived to evoke the atmosphere of an elegant contemporary home, guiding the customer through a sophisticated and refined brand experience.
A Material Library, designed like an haute couture atelier, completes the layout. Materials are neatly organized on sleek black shelves, inviting hands-on exploration, tactile experiences, and experimentation with creative combinations.
This strategic opening in Riyadh, combined with Majid Al Futtaim’s deep understanding of the local market and Poltrona Frau’s 113-year heritage of excellence, positions the partnership for continued growth across the region’s luxury furniture and design landscape.
